Dyana Carmella is a Los Angeles–based writer and video producer. Her debut nonfiction book, A Walk Thru Neverland (2023), recounts her 74-day solo journey along the 1,200-mile Pacific Northwest Trail through Montana, Idaho, and Washington. She also produced and co-hosted Bush & Banter, an outdoor adventure podcast in which she and thru-hiker Jennifer Frederick interviewed explorers from around the world.

An advocate for solo exploration, Carmella has traveled the world, hiked the Tahoe Rim Trail, Colorado Trail, and Grand Teton Loop, and summited Mount Whitney seven times. Her wilderness survival training includes time with the U.S. military in Fairbanks, Alaska, and study under SERE specialist Jessie Krebs.

Based in Los Angeles, she shoots and edits videos, specializing in interviews and fast-paced, trailer-style storytelling.
